Our new 2-month old ROTTWIELER we bought today! "Elvis Shamoondah Uniqua Joy Daniela Fansisca Clifford the Big Red Dog Pele". But we think we may just call her Elvis!

Girls talking on SKYPE to family in the States!
Hope and Abigail Hoskins, and Abby Lopez - another Missionary Kid (MK) in front of the preschool, BABY LOVE, that is right around the corner from our house. So close we walk! Everyone speaks Portugese so they'll pick it up fast I'm sure. They'll also love talking Ballet, learning the Alphabet and sounds in Portugese , and learning more about "dental hygine" twice a month - Aunt Laura!!!

Abby on the playground at preschool.

Hope in "playhouse" at her preschool. The girls really seem to like it. They start school next Monday 4 hours a day M-F while we're in language school. They are also fed lunch there, Brazilian cooking, we were told that last Friday they both ate ALL their food and wanted more.
Our potty with the "bide" (spelling?, prnouced bed-ay) hose! Different huh?

Nemo bathroom - Hope modeling where the "hampers" are.

Shower head. (Notice the wires on top, it's electric! So we'll have hot water) Yet, right now, it's so hot I only turn on the cold water to shower!
Girls in the "Nemo" bathroom in the "tub", otherwise known as the inflatable swiiming pol we bought at Wal-mart before we left. However, I don't believe we;ll do the bath thing much longer, since mom has to empty the swimming pool each nite so the mosquitos don't hang out there, and she does this by taking a small plastic trash can and emptying several cans of water and dumping it down the toilet, since the drains on the floor aren't swallow enough to keep all the water from running our into the hall. SO...showers, here we come!!!
Abby sweeping up. In the background is our washer and the "maid's quarters"

Girls playing in the "all tile" back yard.
Hope and Abigail closing our "gate" door between the front of the house (the living room with all the windows across the front, into the dining room and off to the right of the dining, the kitchen - where one end leads to the outdoor utility room and the "all tile" backyard where the wash machine and clothes lines are) and the back of the house - 3 bedrroms and 2 1/2 baths are.

Chuck and Hope at the "Feira" (street market in our neighborhood on every Saturday, kind of like the farmer's market)

(I'm still learning how to navigate the blog postings, so please hang in there with me) Hopefully the captions will go with the appropriate pics. If not, just guess :)

Please keep praying for us too! We love you guys.
