Cooked Pacifier

OK - So here's the story. Abigail is attatched to this ONE pacifier. No other will do. And just about daily we go on a "hunt" for her paci (much like Larry the Cucumber searches for his hairbrush in the song..."Oh Where is My Hairbrush?"). Well, it just so happens that whenever Elvis the puppy finds it, she like to put it in her mouth too!

Well of course, we counldn't have that, so when Elvis found Abby's pacifier one day, mommy decided to sterilize it by boiling it in water on the stove for about 20 minutes.

Well, mommy forgot about it, and all the water evaporated and the paci melted to the pan. It was quite a scene trying to "unstick" it from the bottom of the pan, but, as soon as it was cooled, Abby didn't mind, she stuck it right back in her mouth!

(One prayer request is that Abby will soon give up this security pacifier - I'm sure it's not too much longer for this world!)
